Lots of Australian chains give members a birthday treat — but most need you to sign up in advance, and some need a recent purchase. We checked every one against the official terms: what you get, how to claim it, and the last day to join.

Every entry comes from the brand's own site or terms. Third-party lists and social media are leads only — if we can't confirm it officially, it's not here.
If the official site doesn't state a value, expiry or condition, we say “check the app” instead of guessing.
How far ahead to join, whether you need a recent purchase, and state limits are all called out.
Every entry shows when we checked it, and is flagged if it hasn't been re-checked in 90 days.
It varies: Krispy Kreme needs 4 weeks; Starbucks and Donut King issue rewards on the 1st of your birthday month, so add your birthday before the month starts; others just need you registered before your birthday. The planner above works out each date for you.
Chatime, Muffin Break, Max Brenner, Gelatissimo and others require a purchase on your member account within a set period before your birthday (90 days for Chatime). We flag this on each entry.
Some stores check ID with your date of birth, so bring a licence or passport to be safe.
Yes — programs change. Each entry shows when we checked it and links to the official terms; tap through before you go. Spot something stale? Let us know on the feedback page.
